This is a long story. The history of *.ivy starts a long, long time ago in a country called Landis&Gyr. There in the region of the Zentrallabor research about PetriNet's were done. Saddly, there was a mad wizard that destroyed the region but the knight Heinz Lienhard saved some of the people working there and founded a new county. The name of the new country was deeply discussed. Because the new country would like to be a network of people and since the ivy plant looks like a kind of network and also in the eastern coast of America there is a famous network called ivy-league the name ivyTeam was choosen. From then on products of the country were prefix or suffixed with ivy. Starting with ivyFrame, ivyGrid, Xpert.ivy and now Axon.ivy - and they lived happily ever after. answered 17.10.2016 at 11:25 Reto Weiss ♦♦ |

Not sure whether the question is "Why was the platform named (Xpert/Axon) Ivy?" or "What is the class Ivy technically"?
i mean about the platform, why we choose that name?
