Disable zip backup during deployment

Dear IvyTeam, At the moment, we deploy lots of times a day our projects to the server and ivy server automatically creates zip backups before deploying the new iars. Those files occupy some disk spaces and make the hard drive full quickly.

How can we disable the auto backup? Thanks.

Yet with 7.4 there is no way to avoid the creation of these backup files. But I understand the issue and we should get better in this as frequent automated deployments are becoming the regular use-case.

The question is how a good solution would look like. I can imagine putting the files into a /backup directory. Which can be mapped to nirvana using linux filesystem magic. What is your opinion?

Thanks for the fast answer. I have configured a workaround to clean up those zip files by scheduling crontab to run a delete script.

I like your idea about the backup folder for those files and map them to corresponding app/pm/pmv. And it would be better if the user can configures it and has ability to disable/enable the feature.
