Hello all,

Is it possible to store HTML template for emails in CMS and still use the <%= %> placeholders ?

for example:

New Event: <%=in.event.channel.name%>

I have added one JSP resource in CMS and referenced it in the Email Activity: <%=ivy.cms.co("/emailTemplates/email")%>

but it didn`t worked.

Hello Yordan

I'm very sorry for misunderstanding you.

Yes this is possible. You find an example how to do this in the WorkflowDemos project in the designer directory /applications/samples. As far as I can see your code looks fine, provided that the CMS path and the variable name are correct.

Hello Yordan

if you want to use variables in an HTML context you need to address them the following way:

<%=ivy.html.get("in.event.channel.name")%>

Hello Barbra,

Thanks for answering, but this was not my question.

I was asking if it is possible to put all of the HTML email template in the CMS (including the variable placeholders)
