Xpert.ivy Server Version 3.9 Build 52 Patch 6 on modern Windows Server OS and MS SQL

Hello,

We have Xpert.ivy Server Version 3.9 Build 52 Patch 6 running on an old Windows Server 2003. Is it possible to install this on a modern server OS? In the install guide they say it will run up to Windows Server 2008 R2. Is it possible to install on Windows Server 2019? Have anyone other tried this? Can Axon.ivy give some support for this configuration?

Also is it possible to use a newer MS SQL Server? Should support up to 2008 R2. When we can do a rebuild on a mordern server OS we will also upgrade our database server to a newer SQL like MS SQL Server 2019.

How to avoid Error message on designer startup

Hi Ivy team,

each time when starting Axon Ivy Designer an error box welcomes with the following content:

"An internal error occurred during: "Verify Web App Libraries". java.lang.NullPointerException".

The Designer works after closing the error message, so this is not a real problem. What is the reason for the cryptic message? Tested with Axon Ivy designer 6.7.1 Rev 55496 on Windows and Linux.

In error log I see also two errors for starting BPM engine with ConnectivityDemos and QuickstartTutorial I made edits to.

EDIT 2:

Steps to reproduce:

select a new workspace
import all axonivy demo projects
unpack connectivityDemos and edit some label.
save close and restart designer

Is it possible to access a network share with the Ivy Server?

I developped a project on Designer which loads file from a windows network share with a path like this: //srvname/share. This works as expected but with the Ivy Server it is not working. Is this also possible?

We have the problem that we cannot access a mapped network directory from Ivy although the user with which we run the Ivy server can access the directory without problems. How can we solve this?
