Why has the license check changed for Axon.ivy 8.0? You need now the so called public urls and not the hostname anymore. What is the reason why you have changed that?

Is it possible to pass the Ivy license via env prop ?

Reason for my question : as you might know we in KLARA want to build our own image. If the license has to be provided as a file in a certain directory then our image, which is hosted somewhere in the cloud, contains the license. May be not so nice from your point of view.

The idea is that we store the license as a secret and inject it at startup of the image.

Oracle has decided that they will no longer will publish Update/Bug Fixes/Security Fixes for JDK 8 for free after January 2019. If you want such Update Release after January 2019 you have to buy support from Oracle.

Moreover, Oracle will only publish free update releases for JDK 11 for at least 6 months. After the 6 months you can have update releases only if you buy support from Oracle.

What does this mean for my Axon.ivy Engine? Do I need to pay for Oracle support now or are there other possible solutions that AXON Ivy suggests?

What exactly is regarded as a "concurrent" session?

We are having a little discussion here what exactly a "concurrent session" is. As I understood so far we have

a) Named users

b) Concurrent sessions

The named user amount is the amount of Xpert.ivy-Users which my be imported via an AD or added manually in the ServerAdministrationPanel. But what is regarded a concurrent session?

If I have 150 named users and I have 50 people logged in - so I've 50 concurrent sessions.

But what happens if a user has (for example) two browsers opened and is logged in with the same account - would the last case consume two concurrent sessions?

Which license do I need when I upgrade my Xpert.ivy engine/server
