I got it to use more memory, thanks. still it's painfully slow. what JVK JDK are you using? oracle (open or commercial), adoptopenjdk, or perhaps any other? I am using virtualisation (VMware Fusion), has anyone some recommendations for resources to allocate to VMware (and settings)? are there any smart vmargs recommended? perhaps another garbage collector or server vm option? any advice to speed things up little are very welcome.
