**Fixed for Designer 7.4 & 7.0.12**

For Designer versions 7.4 and 7.0.12 this behaviour has been fixed by disabling *assistive_technologies* by default.
**Designer 7.3.2 / 7.0.11 and prior**

You just need to go to `/etc/java-8openjdk/accessibility.properties` and put "#" at the beginning of one line there ![alt text][1]![alt text][2]![alt text][3]
And than save with "ctrl+x"
