Error message on already started task

Hello all,

On older versions of the portal we used to have error message on the top right corner of the task list view of the portal: alt text

But right now with portal version 8.0.2 what we get is an error page instead of that message: alt text

My question is whether we are not doing the proper way? And if so how to solve that issue? Thanks in advance for your help.
