How can I set the user language at runtime?

The language is normally determined by the browser settings of a user. This language can be overridden by changing the locale of the session. See the public API reference: ISession#setContentLocale(java.util.Locale)

to modify the task e-mail content language, there is another API: IUser#setEMailLanguage(java.util.Locale)

Don't forget to set the formatting locale:

ivy.session.setContentLocale(in.language, in.language);
ivy.session.setFormattingLocale(in.language, in.language);

Whereas in.language is two or three digit (not sure) ISO-Code.
