Hi ivyteam

I have a question about sidestep on casemap, as my understanding, casemap is a external process that can be triggered manually in anytime. for instance, the admin can run this process to perform additional check in current state. Now i have some questions about sidestep: alt text

  1. How can i run the sidestep on casemap editor? Does i need to run it from index page?
  2. Can show casemap editor run on ivy engine?
  3. In picture above, i have a sidestep on state Credit rating, so does it mean that sidestep only can run for the case belong to that stage? or how does the stage get influenced to sidestep?

Thanks and hope you feedback soon

Hi

  1. A sidestep can be started on the detail page of a task that run in a case map on the designer workflow ui. On the engine use the portal application to start sidesteps on tasks that run in a case map.
  2. Not yet supported. Portal will show icons of the stages and shows which stages are done and which is the currrent.
  3. Sidesteps are only available on the stages they are defined in. This means the "External solvency service" sidestep is only available if the case map is in stage "Credit rating"

hi @Reto Weiss ♦♦ Thanks for you feedback. About 3), for example if I start the process and it's available on stage credit rating then the sidestep will be available on portal. The other user who are not activator of task will not see sidestep. 4) Can we see the statistic of sidestep on engine via portal?

There will be the same "statistics" available as for every other normal task. Not more and also no less than for normal tasks.
